The Physics Department of Kirori Mal College has a very dedicated, energetic, dynamic, and research-oriented faculty of a group of twenty-nine rationalists. The department has a rich set of spacious laboratories – 5 Physics Labs and a Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab. Though each Lab is dedicated to a particular set of experiments, each lab can actually accommodate almost all Physics experiments performed in undergraduate studies. Of the five Physics labs, three are equipped with dark rooms for performing optics experiments. The well-ventilated labs of the Physics department are designed to ensure cross-ventilation as well as to suit the operations of Air Conditioning in the sultry summers of Delhi. 6) Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab – as the name suggests, it is the lab for Microprocessor and Microcontroller. However, to utilize the space for the maximum benefit of the students, the lab also houses a number of N-Computing devices and desktops.
