DARSANA 2022

The B.A. Programme Society (Department of Philosophy) in collaboration with IQAC of Kirori Mal College organized a Two-day Philosophy fest "Darśana- An Insight into the Self" on 26 & 27 September 2022 which included talks by eminent intellectuals and followed by exciting competitions for the students. The first day constituted a very thought-provoking talk by Dr. Ajay Verma from J.N.U on the broad topic of technology and Ethics. It was followed by the preliminary round for Debate and poster making and creative writing as well. All three competitions were highly appreciated and were well received by the audience as well. The second day started with a talk by Prof. R.P. Singh of J.N.U on the broad topic of religious diversity. After the talk, what followed was the final philosophical debate on the interesting topic of tolerance.

ICPR Sponsored Periodic Lecture Series On Ethics of Globalization

The Department of Philosophy of Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi organized a one-day Periodic Lecture Series with sponsorship support from ICPR, Delhi. The theme of the Periodic lecture Series was “Ethics of Globalization”. The Lecture series hosted two eminent speakers Professor Shashi Motilal, (Retd) Professor of the Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi, and Dr. Ayesha Gautam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi to enlighten the students on the prescribed theme.
